FUNKY JUNKY
Funky Junky is a new spot in Kensington brought to us by the dudes from Roach 'O' Rama (down the street). Filled with incredibly random shit including 'life sized' New Kids on the Block vintage pins, an entire burlesque puppet sized peep hole stage from the 30's, random retro furniture, toys, games, and pretty much any other props you'd conceptualize in a Tim Burton themed nightmare (but in a good way). The store just opened and EVERYTHING they have is reasonably priced (even the entire peep show stage was only 80$). Everything in the store is for sale but at the end of each month they hold an auction with never seen before funky junk. Highly recommend taking a walk inside if you're in the neighborhood. Its just east of European Meats on Augusta. Here's a look inside the shop.

That should read 'dudettes' - the owners/management staff of both locations are primarily, though not solely, female. Way to forward stereotypes while displaying a lack of research skills!
