I have no idea where this record came from, when it came out, or what the fuck a "cloud nothing" is, but the Cloud Nothings led by 18 year old Dylan Baldi were easily the best present I got today . I first heard of them last November when "Hey Cool Kid" started propping up all over. Now that the entire album's available it's only fitting they got some love... seeing how the album is fucking awesome! Cloud Nothings are a lo-fi pop rock band out of Cleveland. They are full of distortion and catchy riffs and have a vintage feel that takes you back way before the garage rock days. Turning On, the debut from Baldi under the alias Cloud Nothings, is a fucking trip from beginning to end and considering this guy is 18 years old, I think we'll be hearing a lot of them in the future. Go buy the record!

Well, to answer your questions, it came out in November 2009 through Bridgetown on CD and cassette.
